Salt, Sand & the Scrolls We Carry

There’s something sacred about walking the shoreline with scrolls in your spirit.

Your feet sink into the sand—the kind that refuses to give full footing, yet still supports your every step. It reminds you that this walk isn’t always stable, but it is sure, because you're being led.

The salt from the waves clings to your skin like residue from every battle you've survived. And oh, how many battles we've survived—yet here we are, still standing, still walking, still carrying the word of the Lord sealed within us.

The wind whips. The waves rise. But we carry something too holy to abandon.
A scroll. A charge. A sound.

Some of us have mistaken this season for silence, but God says,

“I’ve hidden you to preserve what you carry.”

Your scroll has weight. It carries language that didn’t come from earth.
It holds blueprints, not for buildings, but for breakthroughs.
It was etched with tears and sealed with oil.
And it’s not time to release it all yet… but it’s time to remember what you carry.

The sand reminds you of covenant.
The salt reminds you of endurance.
The scroll reminds you of your assignment.

There is a groan in the earth… and the scrolls within His prophets are beginning to quiver. We feel the tension of “not yet” and “almost.” We are not waiting to be noticed—we are waiting for the wind of release.

So keep walking. Keep watching.
Because when the time comes, your scroll will unfurl like fire, and what you've carried in secret will be released in power.

You are not wandering.
You are walking out a scroll.

• Ask the Holy Spirit: What scroll am I carrying in this season?

• Journal what you feel impressed to guard, nurture, or prepare to release.

• Revisit prophetic words and written visions you've shelved. Dust them off. They're not forgotten.

• Declare aloud:
  "I will not abandon my scroll. I will walk this shoreline with resolve until the wind releases the word I carry."

When the Wind Carries His Voice

I stood at the water’s edge today.
Not for beauty. Not for leisure.
But because the shoreline still speaks.

And if you’re quiet enough—still enough—you’ll hear it:
A whisper riding the rhythm of the tide.
A sound so subtle, yet it shatters silence.

This is the place where prophets are formed—not in pulpits, but in proximity.
Close enough to feel the spray of His Spirit.
Close enough to sense the weight of His weeping over a world asleep.

There’s something about the shoreline…
It’s the space between what was and what’s coming.
A liminal place. A thin place.
Where God doesn’t shout—He whispers.

“And after the fire came a gentle whisper…” – 1 Kings 19:12

I used to crave the fire.
Now I lean in for the whisper.

And today, the Spirit whispered this:

"Many are moving, but few are listening. They rush past My presence in pursuit of platforms. But I am not in the storm, nor the earthquake—I am in the stillness. In the hush of the waves. In the pause before the next command."

He’s calling His Watchers to the water.
Not to be washed, but to be aligned.
To hear again.
To move only when the wind does.
To become fluent in the language of stillness.

So here I am.
Not just standing. Not just listening.
But writing—to echo what I heard beneath the wind:

Wait. Watch. Whisper. Then move.

• Set aside 10 minutes this week to sit in silence. No requests. Just listen.

• Journal what you sense God whispering—no matter how subtle.

• Ask the Lord to recalibrate your inner ear and quiet the noise around your mantle.

• Declare aloud: “I will not miss the whisper while chasing the wind.”
