"Footprints in the Foam"
October 2025 | Huldah Ministries Blog Series
Some footprints don’t last long.
The ones left in the foam—those fleeting, salt-kissed impressions that disappear before you even turn around to admire them—carry more truth than we care to admit.
Not everything we walk through will leave a mark that others can see.
But it doesn't mean the walk was wasted.
I’ve learned that some of the most powerful steps we take—those soaked in surrender, paved with obedience, lined with warfare—don’t leave behind accolades, applause, or recognition. They vanish into the surf, known only by God.
But Heaven saw it.
The sea knew.
The Spirit recorded it.
“Your footsteps were not seen…”
—Psalm 77:19
Yes, sometimes God leads us on paths that seem invisible to everyone else.
Unseen obedience. Silent sacrifice. Hidden intercession.
And still, we keep walking.
Because our obedience isn’t about being remembered—it’s about remaining faithful.
Footprints in the foam remind us that some of the most holy things are temporary, because they were never meant to be memorialized on earth. They were meant to create a ripple in eternity.
So if you’ve been walking and wondering if it matters—
if your private yes is making any kind of impact—
hear this:
Every footprint counts, even the ones that fade.
Because it wasn’t about what you left behind.
It was about where He led you.
🕊️ Selah & Strategy
Walk a beach, trail, or quiet place this week and meditate: “What has God called me to that may never be celebrated—but is eternally significant?”
Journal this question: “Where have I walked by faith and left no earthly footprint—but shifted something in the spirit?”
Declare:
“My steps may not be seen, but they are sacred. I walk by obedience, not by outcome.”
